Reign Abalone with Collagen and Gum Tragacanthin Coconut Milk
Slow-cookedSouth African abalone, gum tragacanth, fresh coconut milk, Japanese collagen
Often compared to bird’s nest, gum tragacanth is a natural plant-derived gum obtained from the sap of goat’s thorn shrubs. It is rich in collagen and is known to nourish essential fluids, moisten the lungs, promote intestinal functions and provide moisture to the skin. It is effective in fighting against rough skin, dry coughs and constipation. Abalone and collagen provide additional nutrients and health benefits.

Going beyond other collagen supplements, the Reign’s Abalone Collagen Series, endorsed by Chef Jean-Marc Soldati, Swiss Michelin-starred chef of Hôtel-Restaurant du Cerf, features premium seafood and ingredients sourced around the globe. These are paired with slow-cooked South African abalone and Japanese collagen to create luxurious and innovative flavour combinations. All the ingredients are prepared with traditional cooking techniques which preserve their nutrients and natural flavours to create six tantalising flavours including lobsters, Akita crabs, scallops, shrimps, American ginseng and gum tragacanth in coconut milk. These ready-to-eat products are perfect for busy city dwellers to savour the all-natural tastes of abalone and collagen anytime, anywhere. They are also the “superfood” for ladies to enhance skin’s elasticity and moisturize the skin.
Natural and non-polluted habitat
Reign’s abalones are reared naturally and fed on seaweed in the beautiful and pristine waters of Walker Bay in South Africa. Each fresh abalone is cleaned, vacuumed packed in a Japanese-made slow-cooking bag, and cooked at a low temperature for a long time. In this way, the abalone’s collagen extract is completely preserved without artificial flavours and preservatives added. After the Reign’s abalones are delivered to Hong Kong in the freshest state, the chef uses the abalone juice and cook it in the Australian lobster soup, mixed in with Japanese powdered collagen, diced South African abalone and different seafood, then leave to set in the fridge. The abalone collagen series offer an exquisite taste of fresh abalone while the jelly-like collagen gives a rich lobster flavour in every bite. The products can be savoured on their own or enjoyed with Russian caviar, which brings these nutritious ingredients to even greater heights.
Delectable and healthy
Abalone is extremely rich in nutrients. According to the Compendium of Materia Medica, abalone has heat-clearing properties as well as nourishing the yin, liver and kidney. It has also been recognized by modern western medicine that abalone is low in fat, high in protein and rich in omega-3. In addition, it is a good source of iodine, phosphorus and other essential minerals. These nutrients help to reduce the risk of heart disease and arthritis, regulate thyroid function and promote the growth of bones and teeth. With its exceptional taste and countless health benefits, abalone is the perfect superfood for men and women of all ages.
